Mountaintop Church is not a church with small groups…

We are a church of small groups. We believe that life is a team sport, best done together. Small Groups are made up of 10-20 people that get together regularly for fellowship, community and discipleship. Whether your interest is in a particular study, activity or affinity, small groups are a great way to get involved at Mountaintop. We have several types of small groups offered for the summer semester:

General Groups

These are the groups you usually think of when small groups are mentioned. They are open to men and women of all ages. These groups will usually follow a stated curriculum for the semester, and will meet on at a regularly scheduled time. The curriculum will either be a Bible study, a Bible-based study, or a religiously themed study.

Activity Groups

These groups are based on the common interests of its members. While these groups range from bowling to film making, they all share a common interest of Christian fellowship. These groups all start with a brief devotion and time of prayer. Activity groups meet at a variety of locations and times based on the activity.

Men/Women’s Groups

Men’s and women’s groups are very similar to general groups, but allow for specific discussions by limiting the membership to either men or women.

Support Groups

Mountaintop offers groups for helping members and non-members in their spiritual walk while dealing with special challenges. Whether you are dealing with addictions, addicted family members, grief, or job struggles, Support Groups can help you through difficult times. (Your privacy is respected in these groups.) Childcare is available for many of these groups. Please contact Ladonna Rausch at 205.776.8056 for information about childcare.
