“LORD, YOU ARE GREAT. YOU ARE REALLY WORTHY OF PRAISE. NO ONE CAN COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND HOW GREAT YOU ARE.”

PSALM 145:3, NIRV

When we look outside and see the beautiful world around us, we’re reminded that God is SO great, powerful, and creative. From the birds flying high in the sky to the planets orbiting the sun to animals scampering around the earth, each one points to God’s indescribable creativity. Jesus used creativity in how He told parables, performed miracles, and helped His followers understand more about what it means to be part of God’s Kingdom. On top of that, we’re created in God’s image. We can solve problems, create art and music, design skyscrapers high into the sky. When we create, we reflect the image of God to the world around us.

Taking them to new heights, we are challenging our 4th and 5th graders in their discovery and walk with Jesus.  On Sunday mornings, they have a similar experience as our K-3rd graders.  However, the big difference is that we challenge them in their small group time.  We help them to deepen their relationship with Jesus so   they are ready to enter into our middle school program.  Your child will be placed with the same small group leader and children each week allowing them to build deeper relationships with each other.  When our 4th and 5th graders transition to middle school we want them to have experienced and own 3 basic truths modeled by Jesus:

I need to make the wise choice.

I can trust God no matter what.

I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

These truths are reinforced each week through drama, music, creative teaching and small group application activities.  We also teach a core virtue each month in order for our children to lean more about God’s character and how they can build these virtues into their own lives.  When we live them out, not only do we understand His heart more, so do the people around us!

Parents receive relevant, easy-to -use, age-appropriate materials to help teach the same concepts from Sunday mornings throughout the week at home.
