This summer we are introducing Follower Workshops. These workshops are designed to equip you to follow Jesus in your everyday life. Workshops will be offered several times of the year. Each three-week workshop is based on one of the Seven Marks of a Disciple. Workshops are creative learning environments where you will learn through lectures and lots of hands-on experiences. You’ll have the opportunity to get to know more people at Mountaintop while practicing what you are learning. Childcare is available with a reservation. Be sure to sign-up below.

Engaging Scripture

Sometimes reading God’s Word is challenging! We may read a passage but not understand what it means or how it applies to our lives. We may read the words, but they stay at the surface of our minds and don’t make their way down deep into our hearts.
As disciples of Jesus, one of the key ways we grow in our relationship with him is to engage with his Word. Thankfully, there are many ways that we can read, study, and learn from the Bible!

David Campbell and Michael Johnson, two of Mountaintop’s elders, will help you discover tools and context for engaging scripture.

Love Radically

Sometimes sharing our faith can be outright scary. We worry about offending people or coming off creepy. What if there was an authentic way to connect with your friends, neighbors, and coworkers?

What if it was more about Loving Radically, than knowing all the answers?

Jake Davis and Glyn Denton, two of Mountaintop’s pastors, will help you discover simply practical ways to make a difference.

Seven Marks of a Disciple

    Loves Radically

The self-sacrificing love of Jesus transforms our lives to display the fruit of the Spirit and actively seeks ways to love God and our neighbors.

    Worships Passionately

A life of personal worship inspires us to glorify God in all we do as we participate in corporate worship and praise of our worthy God.

    Engages Scripture

A disciple pursues Biblical holiness through personal Bible study and small groups to seek a lifestyle surrendered to the authority of Scripture.

   Prays Fervently

An active and ongoing prayer life is vital to an intimate relationship with God.

    Serves Joyfully

We have all been uniquely created and find our purpose in God’s Kingdom by using our gifts inside the church and by serving in the community.

    Gives Generously

Tithing (10%) to the local church is a target for practicing financial generosity, moves us toward greater charity, and flows from God’s generosity toward us.

  Makes Disciples

As transformed people of God, we invite people into a relationship to follow Jesus and equip believers to follow Him more deeply through personal relationships.
