Worship Passionately

Sometimes God seems distant, and we are unsure of how to approach Him. We want to draw near to Him and express our need for His presence in our lives but we simply don’t know where to begin. One of the key ways we grow in our relationship with God is through worship, which is more than singing. We want to help you learn the purpose and power of worship in its many forms. Worship is active. This workshop will provide opportunities to actively worship as we discover new ways to incorporate worship into our everyday rhythms of life.

Ben and Jenna Kuykendall and Tori Salazar three of Mountaintop’s worship leaders, will help you discover how to worship in your everyday life.

Serve Joyfully

Sometimes life can be a bit of a grind and feel routine. You want to breakout; you want to make an impact, but you are unsure how to start. FOR-BHM is a huge part of our Mountaintop DNA. We believe God hardwired us to make a difference. Science even tells us we are healthier and happier when we serve others. In this workshop, you’ll learn how serving can play a significant role in our lives, and how it’s at the heart of what it means to follow Jesus.

Ben Cathey and Chris Conner, two of Mountaintop’s pastors, will help you discover simple, practical ways to Serve Joyfully.

Following = Leading

Influence. Character. Purpose. None of these happen by accident. Leadership starts by following Jesus and learning his ways. FOR-BHM is a huge part of our Mountaintop DNA. We believe Jesus’ followers can become leaders who shape our city by learning to lead right where they are – home, work, ball field, even church. In this workshop, you’ll learn about influence, change, and decision-making. We’re here to help you become a significant leader because we believe in you.

Carter McInnis, Mountaintop’s lead pastor, and area business leaders will help you discover how to lead in your everyday life.

Seven Marks of a Disciple

    Loves Radically

The self-sacrificing love of Jesus transforms our lives to display the fruit of the Spirit and actively seeks ways to love God and our neighbors.

    Worships Passionately

A life of personal worship inspires us to glorify God in all we do as we participate in corporate worship and praise of our worthy God.

    Engages Scripture

A disciple pursues Biblical holiness through personal Bible study and small groups to seek a lifestyle surrendered to the authority of Scripture.

   Prays Fervently

An active and ongoing prayer life is vital to an intimate relationship with God.

    Serves Joyfully

We have all been uniquely created and find our purpose in God’s Kingdom by using our gifts inside the church and by serving in the community.

    Gives Generously

Tithing (10%) to the local church is a target for practicing financial generosity, moves us toward greater charity, and flows from God’s generosity toward us.

  Makes Disciples

As transformed people of God, we invite people into a relationship to follow Jesus and equip believers to follow Him more deeply through personal relationships.
