SERVE OUR CITY – October 7, 2023

We are headed out into the community to show the love of Christ by serving our neighbors and leading in our communities. Serve Day is the perfect chance to grab your family, small group, co-workers, and even a few neighbors to serve with you! There is something for everyone. You can choose from one of our many locations and projects.

Kick Off Rally | 8:00 AM


Don’t miss the Kick-Off party! Meet at Mountaintop to kick off this amazing day to serve our city. Come grab a donut and coffee, and see hundreds of others serving TOGETHER all over our cities!

Serve Day Begins | 9:15 AM



Each group will gather with their Site Coordinator and caravan to assigned locations to begin serving and loving on our communities in and around BHM!

Christian Service Mission


Connecting Resources with needs all across Birmingham and the South. CSM exists to work alongside churches in order to build healthy communities that reflect Oneness with Christ in our city. This family friendly project will entail sorting food boxes to get ready to serve over 10,000 families this coming Holiday Season.

Convoy of Hope


Convoy of Hope is a faith-based, nonprofit organization with a driving passion to feed the world through children’s feeding initiatives, community outreach, and disaster response. In partnership with local churches, businesses, civic organizations, and government agencies, Convoy strategically offers help and hope to communities around the world. Building Hygiene Kits for those in need following natural disasters all over the world.

Grace Klein Community


Grace Klein Community seeks to create authentic community (Koinonia) by uniting diverse individuals, businesses, ministries, and churches to work together by sharing what they have in order to meet physical and spiritual needs both locally and globally. This project will partner with Grace Klein and Hope Mountain Church in Calera to distribute food boxes to those in need. Location – Hope Mountain Church – Calera, AL.

Lovelady Center – Irondale Thrift Store


Empowering women through faith-based initiatives so they can return to society as well-equipped women of God. The program is about empowerment, hope, and a belief in the value of each and every human life. We will partner with the thrift store by organizing and cleaning.

Oak Mountain Missions

Oak Mountain Missions receives referrals from area churches, domestic violence shelters, homeless shelters, and social service agencies. Qualified support offered by Oak Mountain Missions includes: food, clothing, household items, linens, furniture, and limited financial assistance. Project will include cleaning, organizing, and light landscaping projects.

Sav-A-Life


Provides a safe place of counsel, support, education, and health to individuals and families. Projects will include painting a meeting room in the educational building.

South Haven Senior Center

Caring for the members of South Haven Health and Rehab, in multiple ways. This will include building care packages, delivering them, and showing love to each resident at the facility.
