SAV-A-LIFEÂ
Leader: Becky & Mark Swindall
About: Save-A-Life is a comprehensive pregnancy care ministry offering free and confidential services in a loving environment to women, men, and families facing an unplanned pregnancy.
Project: We’ll be tackling a few projects, like sorting clothes, ripping out office carpets, replacing ceiling tiles in a few rooms, and cleaning out the storage shed. Sorting clothes is perfect for moms and teens! For the other tasks, we’ll need some strong folks to help with the more physical work. Work gloves are recommended! Children 10+ are welcome.
Volunteers: 20 people
RALEIGH’S PLACEÂ
Leader: Steve Bottoms
About: Raleigh’s Place is a Christ-centered foster care ministry that exists to Live the Gospel by Loving the Fatherless. They serve Chilton and surrounding counties by providing supporting foster homes, host a free summer camp, provide clothing and other resources, train foster parents, and equip teenage foster youth for life after care.Â
Project: We will help with some organizing projects.
Volunteers: 15 adultsÂ
GRACE KLEIN [Morgan UMC]

About: Drive-Thru Sites provide food support by providing a box of fresh produce, canned food, meat, dairy, and bread into the trunk or back seat of a vehicle to feed a family of four for one week.Â
Project: We’ll be helping with a variety of projects like sorting clothing for the Give and Take Room, putting out clothes and housewares, cleaning (dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, etc.), boxing donations for other ministries, shelving books, bagging shoes, writing Scripture cards and thank you notes, flower arranging, and processing food donations. If there’s a drive-thru, we’ll also be loading cars with food boxes and praying with guests. Kids are welcome too—there’s literally something for everyone!

SOUTH HAVEN HEALTH AND REHABILITATION
Leader: Megan Maier
About: South Haven is a wonderful alternative to a traditional long-term care and rehabilitation facility.Â
Project: We will give residents a morning of pampering and friendship by painting fingernails and chatting with the women who live at South Haven.
Volunteers: 10 adultsÂ
BACKPACK BUDDIES
Leader: Angel Whited
About: Backpack Buddies is a weekend feeding program for public school children that are considered at risk for food insecurity.Â
Project: Everyone will work together to pack bags consisting of nutritious and easy-to-prepare food items that will be delivered to area schools and placed discreetly in Buddy Program children’s backpacks before they go home for the weekend. Children 5+ are welcome.

MANNA
Leader: Ken Coward
About: Every Saturday, food is distributed to those who are in need. There are no requirements for someone to receive food. An average of 800 families are fed every week, and they have no paid staff. Located in Alabaster.Â
Project: We’ll be sorting food and getting it ready for distribution. Once that’s done, volunteers will help load the food into cars for recipients. There’s also a chance to work in the garden, setting up raised beds and planting seeds—perfect for any green thumbs! Children 10+ are welcome.

SPECIAL EQUESTRIANS
Leader: Jenna Kuykendall
About: The mission of Special Equestrians, Inc. is to enrich the lives of people with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges through a relationship with a horse.
Project: Special Equestrians barn and trail cleanup. Perfect project for Kids, Students and College/Young Adults. Kids 6+ are welcome.
